Elderberries - high in vitamin C and high in powerful antioxidants. They have anti-viral, anti-bacterial properties and helps promote overall wellness and reduce the symptoms of colds and flu.

Cinnamon - rich in anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory elements. It supports in fighting any kind of bacteria and infection.

Baical Skullcap -reduces pain and inflammation, its a great anti inflammatory, immunoprotective and antimicrobial herb.

Just add water, simmer and sweeten!

Choose your sweetener: your own local, raw honey, or pure maple syrup (if under 12 months of age) agave or alternative sweeteners!

You only need to add

  • 4 cups of water

  • 1/2 cup of sweeter - maple syrup (if under 12 months of age) or honey (if over 12 months of age). Add a little at a time until its just the right sweetness for your little one.

Directions:

Place 4 cups of water in a saucepan.

Add packet of herbs/spices and bring to the boil.

Immediately turn the heat down low and let simmer for 30 minutes, or until fluid is reduced by half (500ml).

Strain herbs and compost them.

Let decoction cool to room temperature.

Add enough honey/maple syrup to taste.

Refrigerate. Can last up to 6 months depending on how much honey has been used as it acts as a preservative.

RECOMMENDED DOSES:

  • Adults: 1 tablespoon daily

  • 9-12 months: 2.5ml

  • 1-2 years: 4ml

  • 2-5 years: 5ml

  • 5-12 years: 6.5ml

  • 12 plus years: normal adult dose unless child is particularly small

FOR AN EXTRA BOOST

If unwell take recommended amount every 2-3 hours until symptoms subside.
